Graduation week is here – congratulations!

The Offsite team would like to send their warmest congratulations to all those Leeds Beckett University students who are due to graduate this week.

If you are visiting the University campus for the graduation ceremony we hope that you, and your family and friends, enjoy your extra-special day which marks the culmination of your academic achievements.

Best wishes to all and good luck for the future.

Check out the great photos from our graduation ceremonies that have started to appear on Facebook and on the Library Twitter feed @BeckettLibrary.

They have also provided information about what to expect on the day and useful tips about your graduation ceremony, these are available here. Look out for members of the library team who will be working as ushers on the day!

Gearing up for Graduation!

Graduation week is almost upon us and hopefully some of you will be coming to Leeds to attend your graduation ceremony. The graduation team have compiled a really useful list of things that you need to do before your graduation which can be found here. This list includes information about what will happen to your Leeds Beckett student email account after graduation and also what to do if you if you have any outstanding library books . They have also provided information about what to expect on the day and useful tips about your graduation ceremony, these are available here. Graduating this year? Things you need to know…

  • Leave with a clear Library Account, pay any fines and return all your Library resources. You may be unable to graduate if you do not pay any outstanding fines.
  • If you borrow anything from the Library in May 2015 you may be given an initial return date of September 2015.  However, for final year students this date will revert to June 2015 (or the date of your examination board) and so all resources should be returned by this date.
  • Your MyBeckett, student email account and associated apps and P:drive (webfiles) will remain active until 30th September 2015.  Please ensure that you transfer all emails & contacts you need to an alternative account well before then. Back up any files you will need.  Use google takeout to transfer docs, calenders and YouTube videos
