The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey goes live!

The feedback of all students not least distance learners is really important to the university, and so we’d like to invite you all to complete the PPTESostgraduate Taught Experience Survey.

The Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey is run by the Higher Education Academy (HEA) for postgraduate taught students only, including students on distance learning courses. Over one hundred universities and colleges take part, which means that Leeds Beckett University can compare your experiences against similar postgraduates at other institutions. This will help Leeds Beckett to continue doing the things that you value, and also to make improvements for the future.

The survey is now live and it is your chance to give your thoughts about your course. It is completely anonymous and confidential and takes about 15 minutes to complete. It will run until 16th June.

To access the survey, log in to MyBeckett and click on the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey box.

Every postgraduate student completing the survey can claim a free Leeds Beckett University ‘Class of 2016’ t-shirt. In addition, you will be able to choose one of three charities to which the University will make a £1 donation on your behalf.

The charities are:
• Older Peoples Action in the Locality (OPAL) – a local charity supporting older citizens in Leeds to live independent and healthy lives
• Shelter – a national charity that supports the homeless
• The Red Cross – an international charity that help people in crisis around the world

To claim the T-shirt, students must print the voucher at the end of the survey and choose a charity of their choice. If you are in Leeds, vouchers can be presented at the Student Hub in the Rose Bowl. Alternatively, distance learners can email Georgia Hudson in Operations at G.Hudson@leedsbeckett.ac.uk with their full postal address to have their T-shirt posted to them and to nominate their charity choice.

Why not have your say? We’re waiting to hear from you!
