Using Google to find resources? Enhance your searching by using Discover

Why you should be using Discover – the Library search engine

You may be used to starting your online searches with Google, but your course requires you to access academic sources. That’s why we have Discover.

Discover works like Google; it’s a search engine and will provide fast and useful results in a single search.  But… Discover will also give you access to academic resources that the Library pays for which are not freely available on the internet.

Over 90% of Library resources can be found on Discover – so have a go now and Discover more.

Please note there are some databases that are not yet searchable on Discover. These are listed on the right hand side of the results screen in discover, by subject area. More details are in the FAQs.
