Welcome to your new Offsite blog

Room 208 signHi everyone, Vicky and Maria here from the Offsite team at Leeds Met Library. We just wanted to introduce you all to our brand new blog, launched in response to your feedback – Offsite postcardsome of you may remember completing a survey for us last year, and a number of those who did said they’d like to use social media to keep in touch with us, with a blog being one of the options suggested. The Offsite blog is designed to keep distance learners up to date with Library news, new resources and information to support you with your studies. It’s also a way for you to contact us – we love to hear from you, so please feel free to leave us comments!

Offsite is based in Room 208 of the Sheila Silver Library at City Campus. The team are Kathy Pitt; Vicky Dobson; Maria Kwater; Sue Ellis and Sarah Cohen, and we’re managed by Jo Horsfall and Liz Lanfear. Team photo to follow shortly! As well as supporting distance learners we also work across The Library service, so we can be found staffing the Help and Information Point and answering telephone, email and chat enquiries.

Do you have any feedback on the blog or any ideas for things you’d find useful to have on here? Please let us know – you can comment on this post, phone us (0113 812 1000) or email us.

We look forward to hearing from you. Watch this space for further posts and and look out for our regular tweets on @leedsmetlibrary!
